is an economist and a civil society representative. He is a board member of the Center for Support of Economic Initiatives, as well as a full member for Azerbaijan of the Group of Independent Experts on the European Charter of Local Self-Government within the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. His research covers macroeconomic policy, the financial sector, the institutional quality of local self-government, and governance mechanisms.
